Pancakes for pudding …..

We always have a lovely pudding on a Sunday when we are at my Moms. Today she had made pancakes. These are the English sort not the smallish thick pancakes like they have in America. These are bigger and much thinner. We had them with toppings of sugar, lemon juice and maple syrup. What puddings do you like ?

My grandmother used to make huge pancakes nearly the size of the pan and about an inch and a half thick.

What we call pudding here is a bread made out of stale breads.

Sunday pudding at your mom's sounds so nice. Thin pancakes with lemon and sugar are my favorite, nothing beats that. For me its sticky toffee pudding every time.

@JudyEv. What a brilliant photo …..my Mom doesn’t toss the pancakes….maybe , in danger of them ending up on the floor, or the ceiling ! Vince is doing an excellent job there.
