Look what my sister-in-law gave me, this beautiful bibingka made by Chef RV! He is a famous pastry chef here. Bibingka is a traditional Filipino rice cake, usually enjoyed especially during the Christmas season. It is made from rice flour and coconut milk, then traditionally cooked in a clay pot lined with banana leaves. It is often topped with butter, sugar, salted egg, and grated coconut. This one is so smooth, soft, and delicious. The texture is just amazing, almost melts in your mouth.

Well, it sounds intriguing. I have to admit the prospect of something with sugar and salted egg makes me a little hesitant. But if it’s popular, I know it has to be good and I’d try it.

Even though so sweet sounds healthy , America is all oil and things that taste like banana and coconut.
