Tomorrow is a holiday in my country. It is the date that Christopher Columbus arrived in his 3 ships.
My sister is in Santiago and she´ll come to visit for a while. And Martín is coming for lunch. I had bought a cake for Martín before knowing that my sister would come. He is very sad as his cat died 2 days ago.
The living room is a disaster as I have brought some clothes from the second floor and nobody has taken them yet.
I guess I won´t worry too much about that. I am giving away my things little by little.
See you tomorrow, when I can. Sleep tight.

I´m aware that half, if not more, of the old heroes are now considered wicked. It much depends on the eye of the beholder. And when I think about the saints of the Catholic church, over half of them either killed people or sent them to be killed. I suppose that people need holidays whatever the reason. I don´t like Woman´s Day on March 8th either. I think that women deserve respect and equality every day of the year.

@marguicha - I agree, some so called "Saints" (particularly some recent ones) were more evil than saints. My Mother did not like at all Woman's Day.

It's a holiday here too.
Hope the visit will help cheer Martin up.
Don't worry about the mess. They know you will be moving

I am glad you will have some company, that's nice for you. I am sorry for Martin, losing his kitty.
Don't worry about the living room or anything else. You are in the process of getting rid of things, etc. and the main thing is, enjoy the company!

Thank you. I´ll try to put everything in a corner, but that will be it.
