How do you like to entertain your pets?

I use different things with Nico, most of which in his senior citizen status he is not terribly interested in. I was just blowing bubbles for him. He likes swatting at them. He likes simple things like that rather than expensive cat toys for the most part..but one day he was playing with these balls that are on various levels, which he used to love as kitten but hasn't played with for the past 5 or 6 years. What do you like to play with your pets, or the pets in your life?

Tuffy kitty loves to fetch so I find something to throw for him and he almost brings it all the way back to me
As for Roscoe, he's so big, 70 lbs or so, and has no idea just how strong he is so I learned not to play with him, the first time I did he was 6 months old and his idea of fun at the time was running head on into me and of course I hit the ground, took a little while to get my fat self up.

Can't you throw a ball or stick for him outside? He needs to get that energy out.

@rebelann Did it just happen once, when he was a puppy, or is it a regular thing? I wonder if a ball launcher would work? you could launch it, and hide..

He's the first dog I've had that is completely dangerous when he plays. I tried throwing sticks and he did get them but then he comes right at me at full speed with the damn thing, now I have a wee scar from where that branch scratched me and again I had a wee bit of trouble getting up @snowy22315

They are alot like kids in that respect. Get them some expensive toy, and they play with the box.

Some places sell catnip bubbles. He has had them before. These are regular ones though.

Sadie likes to entertain herself. She’ll flip her Greenie in the air, pounce on it, and throw it up in the air again. She’ll get her doggie donut, and try to roll it around. She’s good at occupying herself. But when she wants attention, she wants attention!

Nico likes to bat certain things arround on the floor..or he has this this box he sits in that has some toys in, he will occasionally play with those. He is almost always content if he gets to cuddle with mommy..but in the morning that isn't always the case. He wants some food.

They probably like that best of all. Nico is lying on my chest right now..purring up a storm. Oddly he is also twitching his tail, Only he could be happy and mad at the same time!

Nico used to like that, but he hates it now. He will run away if he sees it, or the beam of any flashlight.

Cats are great..well most of them are. This one is a bit of a problem child..but it is part of his rustic charm.
