A few days ago @xFiacre was talking about Panna Cotta. One of my and my Moms favourite desserts. We haven’t had one for years but with the chat on here I wanted to find a recipe and make some. Well, as luck would have it , I have just been watching Mary Berry ….and she has just made …Panna Cotta ….well, wow, now I have my recipe. I’ve made my list of ingredients I need , including leaf gelatine…..thats what gives it that famous wobble …. Do you think you could achieve a respectable wobble ?

@traceyjayne What flavour are you making? Will you serve it with a little coulis?

@Traceyjayne Vanilla is the best. Amaretto works well. Also had lavender.

@xFiacre I’m not a fan of Amaretto. I have heard of lavender panna cotta ….ive chickened out on making it though ,,,,not sure I could eat it . I know it would be a mild flavour….but, I think it’s just me ! To me lavender isn’t something to eat …. I’m not that keen on the smell either.

I hope so. I know a really simple panna cotta recipe that involves jello and Greek and yogurt. I love panna cotta.

It is a very light , delicate dessert, basically it’s a set cream …..delicious with fruit coulis ….

Ha, the timing on that is perfect, Mary Berry basically handed you the recipe. I think you can totally get a good wobble if you follow the gelatine amounts and don't let the cream get too hot. Now I want some panna cotta too, hope yours turns out good.
