Garden Fresh Vegetables

Happy Tuesday Everyone! yesterday was a holiday here and my daughter was off from work so we had a nice long weekend. But, today life is back to our regular routine and it feels like Monday,
The sun is shining and it's a bit warm which is warmer than usual for this point in October. At least I don't have the electric meter spinning with either the a//c or the heat. Looks like the temps will drop again in the next few days and it will feel more like October.
Over the weekend my daughter spent some time with her friends and when she came home she was grinning from ear to ear. She had a nice amount of garden fresh vegetables that her friends had given her....zucchini, eggplant, cherry tomatoes and green beans. Needless to say we'll be set for the week and I'm so excited to have some beautiful garden veggies to enjoy.
The older I've gotten the more I like vegetables and never in my wildest dreams would I have ever said that.

I do like vegetables..If I have to pick a real vegetable and not a starch..I will go with burttenut squash. I love it.

Those sound nice. Right now I am wanting cabbage or cucumbers. It changes with the seasons

I have always loved vegetables …my favourite is sprouts ….not usually a popular choice but I love them.
I have cauliflower growing at home at the moment, and the last of the courgettes for this year.

I’m not fond of too many vegetables and not very often but I do like broccoli and corn and sometimes zucchini if it’s done right

Nice to enjoy some nice warm weather We are down in the 40s at night now. Brr! But so much better than 110.
I am not a fan of vegetables. Ate a lot of them in my youth and I think I've just had enough. I do love spinach and turnip greens. I like broccoli. I'm glad avocados are not vegetables. I'm usually disappointed by Brussel sprouts. I like veggies cooked in things not eaten by themselves.

I am so bad. Lifelong veggies are yucky to be avoided lol.
