What do you eat with garlic bread ?

I am watching The Great British Bake Off.
This week it is bread week.
The first challenge is to make garlic bread.
Any recipe, any type of bread and any other flavours can be added.
As long as garlic is the star of the show ….
For me ….i use part baked baguettes and make my own garlic butter ….butter, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic purée, parsley.
Cook in the oven or nowadays in the air fryer.
Sometimes I add grated cheese too.
I serve it with Spag Bol mainly.
It got me wondering …..

I do like garlic bread. I don’t eat spaghetti anymore, but I used to like it with spaghetti. I like it with pizza..

@traceyjayne. Never tried to make it but I do like garlic bread to dip in a nice pot of olive oil, chilli and anchovy. Did you know that garlic cloves can be used as a suppository to clear up acne?

I love the show. I usually save it for the holidays and watch it during the day. I like garlic bread with fish or Italian dishes, sometimes we change it up a little and add cheese. Very tasty either way. I love garlic.

Despite the added attraction of Nigella, I’ve not been watching the GBBO.
I do like garlic bread but haven’t had it in a while. The cost of heating it in an oven is the main reason. Like you, when I did have it, it was usually to accompany Spag Bol. Very tasty!

We have our garlic bread with pasta dishes too.
