Good morning myLot

Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 65 degrees F and dark here at the Jersey Shore. The high for today is 85. My ankle has finally swollen after falling in a hole over the weekend. It hurts even more now than it did right after the fact. Sooooo I am taking today off too and am just going to rest and ice it. I can't take any painkillers due to the ulcers that I have. So that's fun. I posted work for the students and there is another teacher in the class for 3 of the 5 of them so it will be fine. So I will be here with the cat crew today. I have the windows open and it will be lovely to get some warm air in here later. I have the humidifiers running even though the windows are open because they are also diffusing aromatherapy oils. I find them really relaxing. I have vanilla here in the dining room and lemon/eucalyptus in the hallway. What's everyone else up to today?

It’s storming outside so I really don’t want to go anywhere, but I need to get my rear to the post office, and then to my dad’s house to do my laundry. Of course, I then need to go to the pharmacy. So piddly stuff, but it needs to be done. I hope the day off gets your ankle right enough to go back to school without trouble.

Oh no, falling in a hole sounds painful, and ankles always hurt more the day after. Good call taking the day off to rest and ice it. Hope the cats keep you company and the vanilla smell helps you relax.

I'm sorry to hear that it's now swollen. Hopefully taking it easy and the ice will help with that.

That's bad news about the ankle and lack of pain-killers but enjoy the day and rest up.
