Friday Coffee Talk

Happy Friday Everyone! it's a rainy start to this day with sun supposedly appearing by afternoon. But, then storms predicted for later this evening and temperatures will drop overnight and tomorrow will be downright cold.
I got a really good nights sleep and didn't even hear my daughter when she left to go get her bloodwork done. I actually woke up to my alarm which is unusual. I had the coffee ready when she came home and we had a quick cup together before she had to start work.
I got my morning stuff done, enjoying my second cup of coffee and chatting here for awhile.
I don't have much planned for today and will probably crochet this afternoon and catch up on some of my favorite tv shows. Sounds like way more fun than doing any kind of housework

Well, I will read Verity later. I think you know I saw the movie with friend on Wednesday. It was good. I am looking to see how the movie and book compare. Of course as you know, people usually say the book is better. So much more detail of course, and you know what the protagonist is thinking.

I’m currently at the gate for my flight. It was downright chilly when we left Oklahoma this morning, but it is 63 F in Texas right now. I had a little snack and a Coke so I refreshed my energy. I was starting to drag until my dad went and bought me a pick me up snack.

You have rain and what do we get? A return to almost 100 degree heat.
