Animals in Clothes?

I don't care much for seeing animals dressed up. It just isn't natural. I can't believe they are comfortable or like being all done up. It often looks tight and I'll fitting. Owners get so intense and into fixing these poor animals up. What are your thoughts on this?

When it’s cold, I’m all for it. I don’t want my dog to freeze. In fact, when my dog saw his sweater his tail started wagging because he knew it meant he was going outside.

Sure sweaters and such but what I have a problem with are the bows and tight fitting dresses and pants. Just looks weird to me.

Very true. I have two Bichon frises and I would have them cut down. Without their very thick and long hair, they must wear something to keep them warm.

I love seeing doggies in winter coats and boots when it is cold ouside, I keep imagining myself if I had no caot and bare feet in places where there is snow,

I agree that boots, coats and sweaters are good in cold weather but I'm talking about the outfits, bows, and too toos I've seen. That is going too far I think.

I have two Bichon frises and when I have them groomed, their hair is cut too short and a sudden change of hair cut can actually make them feel cold. It is a must to have them wear a shirt. If they feel uncomfortable, they try to remove it. But they don't.

I don't dress them up for Halloween. But I have had a few that would even ask for their sweaters and shirts when it started getting colder.

I'm okay with coats on dogs but generally I don't like seeing animals dressed up.

I can understand dressing up a dog in cold weather only.
