Had the blanket on the bed last night (no women to keep me warm) ,first time since April, the blanket bit. My feet were cold in the day so knew it was coming. We had a spectacular summer here and it ended this weekend.11 degrees today so cold at night.
Energy prices in the U.K are some of the highest in the world and so we have to play this game of chicken where someone else in the house finally puts the heating on in the evening and so you don't feel guilty about it. I live with my brother and so far, neither have flinched. I try to hold out until daylight saving sees the clocks go back, next weekend. As I said before there are no women in the house so we can hold out a little longer. We all know women get colder, quicker, and unlike their weight, they cant pass the blame to their partners for that one.

It is true that women get colder quicker. I am fortunate to have two hairy beautiful girls next to me to keep me warm at night. Would you like to join us?

I am an odd one. My husband is the one that gets cold first. I run hot and sweat like crazy.

It was light blanket time here, I on the hand wish I had a big warm and furry doggy beside me but they are too expensive to keep,

No ‘ women ‘ to keep you warm ….don’t you mean ‘ woman ‘…..if you get the right one …then one is all you need!
