Seriously who wants a flying car?

Elmo already embarrassed himself with the exceptionally ugly and underperforming Cybertruck. I think I read that they were going to stop producing them. I roll my eyes whenever I see one on the road.
Now Tesla/SpaceX is making a flying car? Like why? Are we trying to emulate the Jetsons? If we are I'll take the robot maid. The FAA said that it doesn't currently classify as an aviation device but who knows what kind of training/license you'd need to operate it. As for the price. . . well they are taking $250,000 down payments.
It looks like this is just another stupid waste of time and resources. Who would ever want one?

Honestly the Cybertruck already felt like a joke to me, so a flying car just sounds like more of the same. I would take the robot maid too, way more useful than something I need a pilot license for. And a 250k down payment for something that might not even be legal to fly is wild.
