Why I don't feel comfortable with dogs

It's 5 p.m. and the weather is cloudy, with the temperature at 30 degrees celcius. It's just a normal day for me. I got to my workplace a couple of hours ago, and when I was parking, I realized I'd left one of my charging cables at my mom's. I saw it yesterday, but I thought it belonged to one of my nieces or my sister. Now I really need it and I'm not sure when I'll be back there.
Anyway, I had lunch ..some days ago, @snowy made a post about a dog attacking a 4 year old..that got me emotional ..the number one reason I don't keep dogs as pets is because they sometimes lose their senses. At the end of the day, they are still animals. I have heard countless cases of dogs turning on their owners
..and that really reminded me of a situation I can't forget. Someone went to work, and when they came back, their own dog was barking so aggressively, so they couldn't even come back into their own home. They had to call someone to help with the dog because it got so hard to manage, and that's one example of why I don't feel comfortable with dogs, even though I know lots of people love them and don't have problems.
If I ever had a pet, maybe just a small one, like a poodle, but not big or aggressive breeds. Anyway, that's my update for now. I wish everybody a wonderful time.

For me as a dog owner myself, this really depends on the dog breed that you are raising. I have toy breeds so generally they are considered as pet friendly those big breeds are the one to be looked at really carefully especially out in public.

That's a shame. I love dogs--my family has owned four in my lifetime.

They are animals, and hence are unpredictable.

Depends on what dogs you have and how it was raised. Each and every single breed have distinct temperament. And if you ever decide to get one, make sure the temperament of that dog matches yours. The needs of that dog should be in accordance to what's only available for you to give.
Dogs become bad not because they are bad by nature. Dogs become bad because of how they were raised, how they were treated by their own environment.

I respect your feelings toward dogs especially big ones that can become aggressive (not that little ones can't) My dog is small (only 13 pounds) and very calm. I wouldn't be able to deal with a big dog
