Health Journey 2026 - Days 78 &79

Hey there everyone, how are you doing? I know I didn't share how I did yesterday, but last night I was so exhausted. With that and my back pain I just wasn't around as much. We won't even talk about my weight until Friday lol. Yesterday was my mom's birthday and I did have some carbs. I did not go crazy though which seemed to work out. I started the day off with bacon and eggs. Then for dinner she wanted tacos; so I had 2 small tacos with lower carb tortillas (ones with a lot of fiber). I did have 1 piece of the cake I made as well. My sugar did not spike crazy, I am guessing it was the mix of fiber and insulin. Today I was back on my carnivore plan (and I say my plan because I allow a few other things) Meal 1 - can of tuna (with mayo/ketchup - yes zero sugar version) Meal 2 - 2 smash burger patties with cheese, and a mix of avocado oil mayo and sugar free BBQ sauce Macros - 1,245 calories, 8 carbs, 102 fat, 74 protein I could have gone a little more higher on the protein, but otherwise not bad. I do need to get back to having some steak again soon, but the burger patties were good. When I first started I struggled to eat them. I think because of the change of how I was eating, I would get full a lot quicker. What do you think?

Hope the carbs don't hurt the weight loss too much. Nice that the burgers tasted good. The stuff we get here right now aren't that good.

Sounds like a solid day honestly, especially with your mom's birthday in the mix. Having a little cake and tacos without a big spike is a win in my book. Hope your back feels better soon, rest up.

Well that is what I am trying to do these days. Just this week hasn't been the greatest.
