Friend had a poor result on his bloodwork

Not surprisingly friend got a poor result when he got his bloodwork done last week He has to meet with the doctor on Tuesday. This is some kind of dance I think they have done before where she recommends a gastroenterologist for 3 scans to be done and he gets one. I don't think she has insisted he come in before though. I wish she would just order him to the hospital. At least he would probably get the proper treatment. Sigh!

I don't think she will though. If she was going to, she probably would have done it when the results came back. She might suggest it, but unless it is an order he isn't going to go.
Of course she wouldn't discuss his case with me..but I wonder if I could suggest that to her? She doesn't know me from Adam though..so doubtful it would accomplish anything.

His inclination is always to do nothing..and I strongly suspect that is what is going to happen.

I believe there should be a system whereby they can put you in the hospital overnight for one or two nights and run every possible test and scan on you that they think is necessary all at one time and get it over with

Thanks, this is a stressful situation, but I am detached from it. There is nothing else to do when someone won't get the proper help for themselves.
