A bevy of beauties

We’ve just returned from judging photos at the Rose Show and I have enough photos for a great many posts but not enough text to go with them all. So here’s a collage of a few just to show the range of beautiful colours. One of the ladies from the Rose Society had been giving lessons in ‘floral art’ and there were a number of very imaginative entries which will figure in later posts.

I love flowers that have mixed colours, I particularly like the rose on the bottom right corner. Anyway the four are beautiful.

There were plenty of 'solid' coloured flowers too but the variegated ones always take my eye.

Yes, that one is beautiful. There was another dark red one that looked like velvet too.

They look so lovely, and I can almost smell their sweet scent.
