Why would someone do this?

I just saw a story on Google news about a woman being the first woman to dive off an iceberg. I didn't know this was "a thing." That sounds terrifying, and a real pain in the butt as well. It seems like you would need so much gear just to stay warm. Kudos to the lady who jumped..I doubt she will have many followers..another insane thing to do if you ask me.

@Juliaacv I know what you mean. I don't need that much attention.

@snowy22315 There is something 'peculiar' about those that think that they have to be in the limelight. I cannot relate to that.

@snowy22315 There’s just no accounting for some people’s madness. Did she not know that icebergs are cold? Has she never heard of heated swimming pools?

I can't imagine that. Cold water may hurt our skin. Never imagine that in my life

Couldn't agree with you more. People do crazy things to get viral on the social media.

There are people that are called Adrenaline Junkies maybe that person is on that category and maybe she has high pain tolerance with the cold but good job for her for being such a good sport.

I don't even swim in Lake Erie anymore, when I am up there in the summer...too cold.

There have always been thrill seekers and social media has encouraged this.
