Us older peeps probably remember Christmas morning AND drum roll.....some form of Avon. Wrapped in pretty paper and disguising boxes hid Avon perfume and aftershave and lipstick etc.
I had fun tonight browsing through crazy ebay. I hadn't realized how many forms of perfume bottles and aftershave containers that Avon sold. Peacocks and roses, white and black cats, horse heads and all manner of guns. And pipes and a small covered wagon. Which one do you remember?
My hubby likes blunderbuss guns and he admires Thomas Jefferson. Tonight I went on the wild side. I bought my first Christmas gifts. It's a week until Halloween and I bought hubby a blunderbuss and a Thomas Jefferson gun. Now it will be up to me to hide the two AND keep my mouth shut and yes, remember where I put the gifts. That is a tall order.

I bet he will love those, thoughtful.. My aunt was big into Avon at one time, and I even sold some when I was in HS. I have a lot of those old Avon bottles at my parents house. Maybe I should try to sell some of them.

@sallypup I would have to dig them out sometime when I up there. My grandmother had a display collection of Avon bottles. She had some unique ones as well. One that I am pretty sure is in my parents house is the school desk
