Vindicated and justified.

I’m feeling quite smug today, and justifiably so. Some have mocked my stockpiling of emergency rations in case of some sort of emergency - storms, war, snow, plague etc. I have been putting away tinned food etc but I’m not telling you where - I may be daft but I’m not stupid. But also squirrelled away are other supplies besides food. And just last night our bathroom light broke. It was the pull cord that wouldn’t operate whatever goes on in the little case out of which it dangles. Some may see this not as an emergency, but a gentleman needs to have the light on to ensure a correct aim when dealing with the business in hand. Distress was alleviated when I broke into my emergency supplies to access an emergency lamp. The lamp had to be angled away from the toileteer because it is so strong that it would cut the eyes out of you if you looked straight at it, a bit like a solar eclipse. But we had light!! I am now feeling quite vindicated in my stocking up on the needful and shall continue so to do quite sedulously.

There ya go! You knew there was a reason you were stockpiling it

Wait to see the day when people will be again without toilet paper. They will knock at your door to ask if you have *emergency stocks" of it. I have, as well as canned food, salt, sugar and coffee.

It's good to feel vindicated and justified - or whatever. You never know when you might need some emergency supplies.
