When we reached that certain level of maturity, we always have deep thoughts for personal choices on where to reside. For some the Peace and fresh air as well as the tight-knit community of a quiet countryside town appeal to many and for some, the convenience, nightlife, and urbanization and a constant activity of a big city have their own charm.
What is it for you? If you had to settle down long-term which environment fits you personally best? Is it the Provincial Life? Or the City life?

Those type of places are an ideal as a retired place! Would love to have that type of dream in reality one day.

I love nature and want to live in a small village near a jungle. The town I live at is a little bigger than a village. The jungle is just five kms from my house.

The uncommercialized scenario of nature is a great way to be communed with it's natural resources and unearthed place makes it a great home for someone who likes quiet and serenity. That's a good choice and Is this Jungle accessible to water and basic resources?

@heaytheblogger Yeah, there is a pond and a little away a stream .The jungle inmates quench their thirst from the stream. If you stay for a night in a village, you can hear jackal calls coming out from the jungle. I have spent some nights in my friend's house there and enjoyed the sounds that are music to my ears.

@Shivram59 An immersive nature quest it is to hear animals sounding at night and nature when you tuck to sleep. Sounds pretty serene and peaceful.

I can be somewhat happy whether I’m in the city or the country. I’d probably prefer the quieter, more simple life, but I hope I would adjust to wherever God puts me. I phrase it that way because right now my choices of where to live is very limited.

Life's circumstances gives that hindrance on choosing which vicinity we liked to settle down but then again that is a right way of thinking about it that we need to center everything on where God puts our faith and where we would live in the latter.

If you grew up living in the buzzling city well, the quiet and serenity of nature of countryside is a much good option because it makes us feel the breath of fresh air rather than living in the concrete jungle.

A quiet city is much more communing because it deviates us from the noise of the concrete jungle it's also a good way because you still have the amenities that provincial areas don't.

Yeah you have a point on that because the city has everything you need but some people feels that the city is too loud for them but for comfort and convenience, I agree on that with you! I'm also living in the city but i am quite located uptown which is more of a quieter part of my local. How about you? are you on downtown city? or uptown?

I don't really have to choose. I live in a very peaceful subdivision that feels like being in a countryside, but I live in a city where all the convenience of the shopping malls, hospital, etc are! And I love the city I live in because it's very livable with very low crime rate, very safe to live in, spacious, traffic jam is tolerable, and most of all...very clean.

if it is well connected by traffic and you can find a job there, i would instantly go there. i hate crowds and sounds in a big city, where i'm currently at.

I live in the city but I am fortunate that my vicinity is far from the city proper it's located uptown so the buzzling traffic and noise from city life is not to much unlike the other places here. I can relate to crowds as I don't like it myself especially when going on commute. Have you tried commuting in the city? Yes, that's very strategic to live near provincial+city life so you can have the best of both worlds.

Ha! I assume you are a life of a party perhaps? I like the party scene but not so much these days maybe when i was in my early 20's that be fine but yeah the fresh countryside is really a must It does help oneself be commune with nature and to distress. Which part of town are you at? And is it near provincial areas?
