Wow, 3 days before Halloween and the end of the lovely month of October. October we hardly knew ye.. it seems. Anyway, It is starting look rather fall like here now, and maybe half oof the leaves have changed. The peak won't be until maybe the end of the first week of November. Anyway, sis invited me for Thanksgiving yesterday, but she wants to do the meal the Monday before Thanksgiving, because apparently that is when the Chicago nephew could come. I had already told her earlier I probably wasn't going to come this year, because I was at the wedding, but my mom and dad will be there..and since I am not going to go to their hometown until probably the spring with gas costs and all, I probably should see them..as at their ages and especially with my dad who knows when the last time will be? I would feel bad if something happened and I didn't make the effort. I could still do a Thanksgiving meal here for a small group like friend and son. I also had invited a friend of friends..but he said she will barely leave her house to go shopping, so that probably won't work out. What are you planning to do for Thanksgiving?
