Gut health and Smarties !

Well, that will confuse a few people….. I had a couple of bargains today…. Firstly, I realised that I could get a ‘ gut health ‘ milkshake drink for just 15p. That is special price with the supermarkets loyalty card and using a voucher from their magazine. The vouchers are valid for another couple of weeks and I have plenty of them. The date on the milkshakes is the end of next month….so, thinking about my health , and my gut in particular, I plan on stocking up with these little beauties ….if I feel the benefit I may carry on with them, if I don’t feel the benefit at least I will have had nearly a month of really cheap , tasty milkshakes. The other bargain I had was a big tube of Smarties …I don’t know if you have them in your part of the world but they are little balls of chocolate encased in a coloured shell…..a little bit of my childhood right there. I have given the Smarties to my Mom as I will have them for Christmas. ( if I have them at home….well ….lets just say, they won’t make it to Christmas ). Have you had any bargains recently ?

I see others here have already mentioned that Smarties here are different than the ones you're talking about, Actually yours sound way better since they involve chocolate

15p for a milkshake is a steal, even if the gut stuff does nothing... Smarties never last till christmas in my house either, gonna be gone by friday lol

They call those sixlets here in the states and I believe there are six in every tube. For us Smarties are a fruity sour candy, in a tube. Teachers love to give them to kids for being "smart".

Yet another difference …..I love finding out these things. I think sixlets might be different . I’m talking about very small sweets.

I know what candy you’re talking about, but they’re called something else here due to Smarties being a candy name already taken. Here, there are tiny different colored sugary discs that have different flavors (no chocolate involved). I never liked the kind of Smarties I’m talking about, but my mom loved them. I’d buy some for her around Easter time.
