Halloween was never special when I was a child but over the last decade or so it’s become bigger and bigger in Australia. I was reminded of that when we drove past my BIL’s neighbour’s house yesterday.
These neighbours haven’t been there long and the husband is Irish. He does amazing displays at Christmas and on St Patrick’s Day and obviously Halloween means a lot to him too. He has certainly done the street proud with this display.

Halloween was never a thing here but due to the western influence, a few groups are practicing it. Social media influence as well. That's why even in small villages, people are having halloween parties.

I never thought of Halloween as a thing down under.

That's a good display! I appreciate people that decorate their homes and yards. It's a lot of work and dedication.
