It's 11 in the evening.
Sleep wouldn't come to me still.
So I put a load of laundry to start washing.
I will still wash it this morning as this is one of the scheduled chores for the next day.
So I am here now hoping to read more and comment more until I finish laundry and fall asleep.
Do you prefer to wash laundry in the morning or night?

My wife is a housewife so she can do it anytime. But for a working wife usually they do it evening or night

Sounds like a good idea if you can't sleep to work on laundry.
I usually do laundry mid-day

True. Since I gang clothes to dry, it's much better to wash in the morning

@rakski that's a good time if you're up to it.

If it’s drying inside then I do it late at night …I have the fire on now so it starts drying quickly, then by the morning it’s usually dry ….
If it goes outside I do it in the morning so that it can stay out all day to dry.

I don't wash cloths myself. It's done by a. poor washerman. He lives near our house. This is his profession.
