Am I cooking up a leg of lamb today?

My step-mom would cook us up a mean (yummy) leg of lamb back in the day. We had it maybe once every few months. We would have it with mint sauce (not mint jelly) on the side, along with with riced potatoes and gravy. Man was that good. So is that what I'm cooking up right now? Nah, but I am cooking up some frozen lamb vindaloo from Trader Joe's. It's of my staples from TJs, and it's really good, better than the frozen Indian food I picked up at the Indian Grocery a few weeks back. Are you cooking up anything interesting on this sunny and cool Sunday?

We had roast beef today. I usually have English mustard but today I had horseradish sauce.

I like horseradish. Heh. I even like the Horsie Sauce at Arby's.

@TheHorse we don’t have Arby’s so I don’t know what their Horsie sauce is like.

Baked some chicken thighs buit their quality is lacking, I am going to stick to frezen chicken fingers and peices so much better,

What made the quality lacking? I always think fresh is better than frozen.

This flavorful Bacon-Wrapped Pork Tenderloin roasts on one sheet pan with delicata squash, caramelized onions, and pears tossed in maple and whole-grain mustard. An easy fall dinner!

My Irish grandparents loved lamb and cooked it for Sunday dinners often when I was a little girl. She always made a mint sauce for hers, too. I hope your lamb dinner was good.

It was good. But not the same as what my step-mom used to make.

No, my dad brought over lunch, and I had some tasty chicken tenders with honey mustard. But boy, do I love lamb!
