Charlie is very needy lately

My 7 year old orange tabby cat, Charlie, is a very friendly and confident boy. I want to train him to walk on a leash because I think he'd be a good therapy cat. He likes everyone. He likes dogs. He is very confident. . . . . . except here in the apartment when Adso (gray/black tabby) is on the move. Adso is 6 years old, smaller than Charlie, and an absolute bully. He won't let Charlie on the bed. Hell most of the time he won't even let him in the bedroom. I hate to think it but Charlie should just kick his ass but he won't. He hides from him. This past weekend Charlie has been up my butt. You'd think I never pet him or he is neglected. He LOVES when people visit. His favorites are my ex and the cleaning lady. My mother doesn't like cats but even she admits that he is very sweet. Right now he is sitting on the table next to me purring just because he is next to me. Crazy boy.

Charlie purring just cause he's next to you is the sweetest thing... and i feel bad he hides from Adso in his own place. Hope he gets his bed back soon, that little bully is straight up a goober.

Charlie likes you a lot like Burr II likes me a lot when he is inside the home a lot walking around.

I loved the orange tabby cat of my neighbor in Switzerland. I was checking photos yesterday, the kitty will turn 8 around Christmas. Poor Charlie, he sounds to be a lovely cat.

My black cat Sheba, she's almost the same way she follows me everywhere & she has learned how to find me if she's outside & I'm not, she'll come to the trailer & scratch at the door to let me know she wants in or meow at the cabin door to let me know she's wanting in if I'm not at 1 place she goes to the other either way she pretty well sticks to my side no matter where I am. You said you'd like to teach him how to walk on a leash, it's not that hard you just have to have a lot of patients & time with him but being he's a older cat & not 6 wks old it will be a lot harder for him to adjust.
