On Friday a 160 page plan for the proposed Triumphal Arc at Memorial Circle was filed. Both District of Columbia and Virginia are both suing in federal court over the possible impact this would probably have on traffic in that area. This project would take several years to complete.
This monument would rise 250 feet on a patch of grass off the bridge that spans the Potomac River.
Trump says it will be "the most beautiful arc ever built." His administration seek final approval Thursday at the meeting of the National Capitol Planning Commission and hope to start construction the same day.
What are your thoughts? Personally I think sometimes people need to stop spending and spend some time trying to get things back to a bit of normalcy instead of going full speed ahead on one rather outrageous thing after another.

My thoughts are that the US does not need such an arch. There are plenty of other landmarks,
