Hubby did not go to his doctor for a couple of years. Okay. I called that clinic today. They can't get anybody in until January. I called my clinic. There is a waiting list with about 1,500 people on it. Good Golly. Hubby decided to get on it.
I called the folks who do home health care. You can't have that care without a doctor sign off. So I figured we'd get no care though I bet I could if I got my doctor involved. The home health care lady called and said she'd contact a clinic in Tacoma. Tacoma is a gigantic city about 70 miles from us. NO on me going near it if I was driving. She called later and said yes. She'd gotten authorization from that clinic and sometime this week somebody from the care agency would be out to discuss a plan. Wow.
I looked up the Tacoma clinic. It is a telehealth joint that specializes in helping folks transitioning from the hospital to the home. I am sure they won't go out of business ever. Not with the current health care crisis.

Thank God there was somebody there to help. Usually you can find the answers you seek, if you are persistent enough. I am glad you were.
