I am not at all. Are you? Guess it's because of how we were raised. Showing some emotions wasn't really our thing. Especially among us siblings. We may care about each other, but we have an odd way of showing it. Angry tones is what's common when we speak to each other. So even with our significant others, we do the same. A good friend of mine, however, would send me cute reels showing how he feels for the day. I find that cute.

I suppose I’m not the flashy type when it comes to expressing emotions with loved ones, which is probably why my wife occasionally gets mad at me for being about as expressive as a brick wall.

Very. I am a rather emotional person. Sometimes too shy to show it though. Your friend sounds like a dear person.

I don’t see romance as something between siblings or family. I see romance as gestures between lovers, or potential lovers. Flowers, chocolates, thoughtful messages. Those sorts of things.
