Would you rather . . .

Would you rather get up a little early and depart for somewhere as the day brightens, or come home as the sun is setting.
Put me in that first camp. I had rather start a journey going into a sunrise, than travel as the sun sets.
Either time of day is a good time to hit a deer. But I have only done that once.
I am starting out earlier today, as the fog is beginning to clear. I came home just as the sun set on Thursday.
I will go to Kansas Veteran's Home, spend time with Bob, then come back home while I still have some daylight. It works well for me.
We have a frosty, chilly morning, but the sun will shine. It is all good.

I prefer to simply stay home these days but back when I was in my 40s and 50s I found it relaxing to travel a little ways but always wanted to start about 10am when most of the travelers were stopping to rest.

I’d much rather start off in the morning and get home as the sun is setting. I don’t like driving in the dark at all, and right now, one of my headlights is out. We need to find out what the problem is because it’s not the bulb.
I hope you have a great day with Bob.

It really depends on the circumstances. In the fall and winter I try to leave early enough so the night time driving is at a minimum.

When I went on a road, I usually couldn't sleep and couldn't wait to hit the road at 4am!
