When is the movie coming out Devil Wears Prada?

I recently finished the book, and can't wait to see the movie! Mostly because I want to see how they will interpret all the high glamour on into the film. Anyone see it? And when does the movie get released as far as rental?

The movie is quite good. And if you enjoy reading Lauren Weisberger, just read her second bestseller: Everyone Worth Knowing. Once you read it, come to my topic related to this book and we could chit-chat on it :)

I'll have to check that one out, thanks! I finally saw the movie last night, my husband and I ordered it on demand and watched it together. Some things were realllly annoying like why they would change her boyfriends name (?) and other aspects were lost too, I understand they have to chop for a movie, but some things like a name change didn't save any time, lol

I did not read the book or see the movie, but I do know that the movie has been released this week in Wal Mart stores, I saw the signs. It does sound good though. I do not know when or if you can rent it.

Thank you so much! I will have to get over an see if its for rental yet. I haven't seen a "new" movie in like 3 years.. ! Sick I know, everyone says " Hey did you see...?" My answer is always no.. lol. The book is a great easy read, it was nice to have sometihng to read that I didn't have to really think about for a change. Anyway, thanks for the tip, I'll keep a better eye out now for it.

I really loved that book too. Sadly, it was recommended to me because of the nature of my boss at the time. After reading the book I said that Miranda is what my boss would have been if she had more power.
I have just seen the movie because my husband gave me the DVD for Christmas. It's a well done movie but strays a good bit from some of the book. With other books made into movies that has really gotten on my nerves. In this case, with The Devil Wears Prada, I was able to separate them and enjoy the book and movie as two separate entities. I would recommend, I think you'll enjoy.

I haven't read the book though I know it was very popular, but I have seen the movie. It's pretty good. Meryl Streep does a good job as Miranda.
I've got one question: Are the twins Miranda's own children? She seems too old to have children that age. I think it would have been explained better in the book.
