If dragons were real, would you want to keep one?

I would love a pet dragon, but would have to be trained to go to the woods to do his business, as i wouldn't be able to clean up after him. He would be a beautiful mixture of blue, green, purple, in all shimmery colors. Of course he must be able to fly, so that I could get to work easily. He could get food from the woods, but he would have to be a vegetarian, as I wouldn't want him to be a danger to wildlife. It would probably help, too, if he could become invisible at will so that everyone else wouldn't want one, too!

That is an interesting thought. I hjave always been interested in myhtology and fantasy stories. The powerful dragon who terrorizes the town. but a pet dragon, that would be kind of neat. One of those little ones , a pretty color with shiny scales.Kind of fun to think about.

I think small would be good, the larger sort could be a liability after a while.

I would not mind having a fire dragon during the winter months and an ice dragon during the summer months. A flying dragon would be cool so I could take long distance trips on his back.
The food source would be hard to find for large dragons since virgins are getting harder to find. I also would not enjoy the duty of cleaning up after him.
A small dragon would be nice but they would probably eat my mother and sister's dogs. I guess I will have to settle for my stuffed Puff the Magic Dragon.

dragons are like my passion, when i start to draw i end up with a background of dragon, if i choose a wallpaper, i end up picking the dragon, if i have to buy stuffs, and i see a dragon interesting than cutie bears or dolls etc, if i get a design for henna tatoo, i end up with a dragon...
how much more if it is alive and very domestic?
i would gladly keep it, bring it to my bag when its still young and if its big, i'll bring it to the far away mountaind where we both can play together,
and my dream, the only thing i wished for is riding at the back of a dragon, feeling its scales and hard skin as we fly up in sky and he treat me as a friend and me treating it as my beloved pet..^_^

For me it would depend on the type of dragon you are talking about. Some do not lend themselves to being pets. Some are made to be wild and free. Now a dragonette or wyvern would be nice since they are smaller by nature and could easily make a nice pet. The larger the dragon the riskier it could be. Then if you are talking about intelligent ones like they showed in Dragonheart, I couldn't keep one like that as a pet for they would be equal to me.

My dragon would be a golden dragon, strong yet gentle, with delicate semi-transparent wings and hide like suede. Her eyes would be multi-facet and multi-coloured, the colours reflecting her mood and temprament.

dragon........ i did like to have a big red dragon with spikes on head and necks, nicely build up demon like and it could take to any where on his back , and his fire breaths would be so strong that it could burn a miles of thick forest
