Well I know that the topic of abortion has it's share of people who support it and who are against it, but are there ever times when abortion is OK? What if you knew that you were pregnant with siamese twins, do you think you'd have an abortion? What about if you ended up giving birth to siamese twins, would you give the "OK" to seperate them?

No I definately wouldn't have an abortion unless it was medically necessary. I would just have to roll with the punches and do the best I could by the children. I wouldn't hesitate to have them seperated unless it was not feasible. If one was going to die from the separation and together they could live. Then I wouldn't separate them.

If I were pregnant with conjoined twins, I would give birth to conjoined twins! Seperation would depend on the risks and benefits, and medical prognosis of both twins. I would love them and take care of them, no matter what.

No I would not, I don't personally believe in abortion. If they could successfully seperate the babies then I would do it.

As a christian i just want to point out to some of you in here saying that its a gift from god, your right children are, but is it still a gift if it puts you in financial hardship or ruins your relationship? Im sure that the many women in the world that have had co joined twins and are not christians would not necessarily see it as a gift. Having said that, i dont know what i would do, i dont think you can really fully understand until you were in this position. Id love to say no i wouldnt abort, but i cant tell you that. Im not sure that i would want my children being branded names if they were unable to be seperated. I think that it would be extremely hard either decisoin but if you have a faith then im sure you would be guided and make the right decisoin for your circumstances.

I dont think I could ever choose abortion. I have experienced a miscarriage and that was the hardest thing ever. I would keep whatever God gave me.

I would never have an abortion - no matter what the circumstances are. If I did end u giving birth to siamese twins, I would get many opinions for having them separted. If it was in their best interest and could be done safely, then yes I would have them separated.

I for one would not have the patience or the money to had siamese twins. so yes I would probably abort them, to know that they would have health problems that I could not handle and to give birth to them and put them up for adopition knowing that they would problem not get adopted would kill me.

I would have an abortion period whether siamese twins or not because I do not want children but it wouldn't be because they were siamese twins.

I would choose abortion because knowing they would be born attached with each other & would have to face many difficulties as well as one day might end up by trying to separate. So instead of killing them after their birth, its better not to let them born.

I don't beleive in abortion. If the doctor told me that the babies could cause me my life then it would be something I'd have to suck up and do.

Absolutely, I would abort. This was my biggest fear when I was pregnant with my twins. I would ask at every u/s. I think others should have the choice as to how they would deal with the situation. It is not mine to judge. I just know that I would not want to bring conjoined twins into this world.

that is such a tough question I have seen many continue on with their siamese pregnancies if the children can survive it and depending on what they find or where the children are attached at. So now as far as separation, well that is also a tough question, if it seemed to be a simple procedure or if perhaps where they are attached would allow them both to live great lives, or at least one would live a good life ....boy it is so hard to say, because even if you are just trying to determine what you would do when it is not actually happening is really hard for me to say. It is like this, I would not wish my enemy to have to make a decision ONE way or the other when it comes to situations where a pregnancy is not going as well as it should be.

Ok well, this really is a tough question. First of all, because I always have said that I would NEVER have an abortion, no matter what. But, now I have done a lot of research and I am now leaning more towards abortion is ok sometimes, such as when the baby or mother's lives are in danger. In this case, the siamese twin case, for me it would depend on where they were connected and wether it was likely that they could be safely separated. If the answer was yes, they could safely be seperated, then I would not abort. If the answer was no, that they could definately NOT survive being separated, maybe I would. Its just really hard to say exactly what you would do, when your not in that positon. You know?

I hear you. I think your heart would tell you what to do if it actually happened.

I have mixed feeling. My first step would be to seek advice from the doctor on their chances of suvival. Besides, I need to take into consideration the cost involved to separate them. Everyone deserves a second chance but if it means having to break the bank account just for their suvival I'll opt for abortion. The decision is very subjective and objective.

its a gift from God. I will gladly accept it. I really dont support abortion. Those innocent baby has no fault. Besides if i do have a siamese twin ,nowadays you an option to separate them. so i'll love to have the twins.

I would not at all have abortion; I'd just let the siamese twins be born and afterwards, do whatever is proper for them. As regards abortion, I have started the topic entitled The Bible on Birth Control. If anybody is interested, pls go to my Profile and open such topic. I have also started other topics pertaining to the Holy Bible. May God bless you. SEN

I do think that there are times when abortions are OK and for some people this might be one of those situations. FOr me, personally, I would not do it. I know it would be very tough to have siamese twins and issues related but I would leave it in G-d's hands and just let nature take it's course whatever that might be.
