Do you have a close family?

My family used to be when my parents were alive when my father passed away in 2002 things changed .My oldest brother well no longer talk to my oldest sister and vice versa .Right now my sister is very cold to me after I was outed to her she has not been the same to me she did send me a xmass gift so there is hope but our relationship is very strained .

In India, family bondage is very high. People hang on together for decades. My family is very close. My parents and we live together without any problem. People in India respect parents as living gods. They draw inspiration from the parents as long they live. Send parents to home for aged is a western concept, many people are now subscribing to this idea.

I too am like you. My familty consists of my wife and a son. I dont have contacts with my parents and the people with whom I had mingled in my childhood.

I was close to my mom before she passed away. I pretty close to my sister char. The rest of the family like my dad,brother and older sister no. I haven't seen or heard anything from my older sis well has to be wel over 10 years, don't know where my brother is right now he ditched his wife and no one knows where he poofed to. My dad haven't talked to him in ummm bought 2 years. I called left messages but he doesn't return the calls. I'm close to a couple of my aunts and their families as well.

well yeah i consider my family are very closed to each others..theres no secret between us its the way we wanted in the first to avoid misinterpretation on things...

uhh no, I barely tlk to my brother, he doesnt live at home, I barely tlk to my dad, I talk to my mum sometimes and we eat dinner together and stuff.. I have no grandparents and we rarely see aunts n uncles n stuff.

My family is very close. I talk to my mom on the phone almost every day. My brothers live in other states, but we e-mail each other all the time.

We have a very close knit family and a very large one. We are always getting together over someones house and the girls cook and off course the men watch football. Then the girls have to clean up. You know the usual. But I do like it. Its good to see how everyone is getting alone in this crazy world we live in.

the only family i am close to is my partner, child and my sister. i don't get on with the rest :(

my family on my mom's side is pretty close. but not too close and my family on my dad's side isnt' close at all. i just met him about 5 years ago. my grandma and i are close. my dad and i aren't really close but i want him around because he never paid child support and it's nice to have the extra money if i need it. he makes a couple g's a week. so he can spare a hundred. but i am not close to anyone on his side of the family. my mom and i are kind of close. my sisters and i are kind of close too.

My family is really close to me. But i think that in a few years i'll get marry and i'll try to make my family bigger:) This is a think that i'd like to do even now but i have to wait 2-3 years...
