Human beings are the ones striking out at all of nature, including ourselves. We're subject to the laws of nature, yet we try to re-invent the world around us and even nature itself to change it, according to our own greed and fears. Humanity itself is what will ultimately lead to our destruction, unless we start to respect nature, and look after the planet, behaving like adults, accepting reality, both pleasant and unpleasant, and not pandering to the lowest common denominators (greed and fear).

Ooh, deep thinking required. I think nature is our first enemy in all of this, as it has been around the longest. If we damage nature (the environment) and injure it, it still wins, as we will doom ourselves. In that way nature may be stronger than all the rest.

There you go again with just a great thought provoking topic. if i had to guess i would say technology. i just think that computers and things like that are so smart they just may be able to start thinking for themselves. is it possible? anything is possible

I am inclined to believe that it is nature that will most likely strike back at our existence. Evidences are already around us. Melting of the ice caps, global warming, massive landslides, floodings among others. Technology will surely follow suit but man who invented it will always think of something to fight back. But who can stand the wrath of nature. Man does not even have the techonogy to predict tsunamis, volcano eruptions and other natural attacks with gigantic destructive powers. I just hope that drastic actions should be done before it's too late.
