I always wear my wedding ring. I feel now it has just become a part of me. When it got too small (My husband says it didn't, I just got bigger) I chose a new one with a different design. I like it, but then got tired of it and decided to have my original one resized. After weeks of waiting for it to be returned, I assumed that my ring was lost. I became very depressed as nothing could replace the ring my husband had placed on my finger on our wedding day. When I eventually for my ring back from the jewellers, I vowed I would never take it off my finger again. Now I really appreciate my ring and I wouldn't exchange it for all the gold in the world.

There is a man at our church who is a welder and cannot wear his wedding ring for safety reasons. He actually had a wedding band tattooed on his ring finger. This seemed like the perfect solution! No danger of catching his ring on a machine and no chance of losing it either!

I always wear mine, but my husband rarely wears his. When we first got married, he always wore it, but he is a mechanic and he caught it at work. So now he doesn't wear it anymore except for special occassions and if he's not working. When he's working he carries it in his pocket. So he has it with him at all times.

I do wear my wedding ring all the time, as does my husband. When I got remarried, I decided I didn't want an engagement ring and wedding band "set"... I just wanted one. So I chose more of an anniversary style, where the diamonds go around your finger (instead of the one stone, such as an engagement ring might have). And I'm funny about my ring... if I take it off, say to do my hair to go out, and then leave the house without it, I'll drive back for it (well, unless I'm already an hour away when I realize it lol). I'm uncomfortable without it. My husband rarely takes his off for any reason, so he doesn't worry about forgetting it LOL

It't normal to wear a ring like that, because of it's simbol. And the others will know that you are married, and will respect you much better.Buy another ring, you won't regret.

I've been married for 16 years and I do wear my wedding band. I'm sad to say that it is not my original band. I used to take it off when I did the dishes and sometimes would forget to put it back on, and it did turn up missing. My darling daughter just recently told me that she took it (when she was 4 she is 10 now) to play marriage and accidentally threw it in the trash needless to say I don't take it off anymore.

My first wedding band was passed down from my husband's grandmother to his mom and finally to me. I value the sentiment behind the ring, but it really just isn't my style. I stopped wearing while I was pregnant with my first child because I retained a lot of water and it never did fit again. Last year for my birthday my husband surprised me with a ring of my own. It's beautiful and perfectly suited to me. I had to take it off the other day because I'm pregnant with child #4 and I'm retaining water again. I'm praying it'll fit after the baby is born, if not I'll have it resized. My husband has always worn his ring.

Mine is never off my hand. It got oval from so much wear and the jeweler did fix that for me. I actually should take it off when I clean and do certain things with chemicals but I just can't bring myself to take it off!

I never take mine off. My wife doesn't either, except for when her hand swells and it hurts. Her fingers have swollen lately because she's pregnant, but she's been wearing her rings on a necklace. I feel naked without my rings on. When I'm working with machinery, I get worried about my fingers, but I'm more scared about losing the ring if I put it down somewhere.

not always. and my husband doesn't either. due to his work for over 15 yrs now, he is not allowed to wear jewelry at work including ring so he got used to not wear it at all unless I do. In my case I rarely wear jewelry even only earrings. When I used to work full time I also don't wear a ring so now both of us don't. We don't lose them, we just forget to wear them somehow.

If i remember to put it on I will wear it. I have kids, so I am constantly washing my hands and changing diapers, so I find that it's easier to not wear it, as I need to lotion my hands throughout the day. I also don't wear it to the gym as I it's not comfortable when I'm working out. It's a shame when you think about how much $$ my husband spent on it when we were engaged. Honestly, I wear my simple gold band much much more often than the one with diamonds.

I don't wear it all the time. I gained weight and my ring doesn't fit right. I can't wait til I have my weight gone so I can wear it again. I once had to have my rings cut off me when I was pregnant. I swelled up and the ring got stuck on my finger and it was so painful. I bawled hysterically while my husband was cutting it off. But we had it fixed! He is a heavy equipment mechanic so he can't wear his daily. He lost his 1st ring while he was at work. He had to take it off and it fell out of his pocket somewhere. When he got sent to training before he went to Iraq he bought a Titanium ring. He didn't want any of the girls on base to think he was single...lol

I am married and yes we both do. We do not however wear the same bands we were married in. We had rings that were passed down on his side of the family for four generations and will be passed on to our kids. When he was shipped over seas for the war, he took it off and put it in the safe so that if something happend to him we would not have to worry about if we got it back to pass on. My ring went in with his, and we bought a indenical ring to the ones that we had. Just a simple plain gold band. I have not taken mine off in almost 9 years, and my husband takes his off at work for safety reasons, (it's the rules), and then puts it back on after work. He has a very visiable band mark though. We have never lost our bands. The ones that your husband gets, does he take it off and loose it, or is it too loose and falls off?

I don't wear a wedding ring nor a watch. I dont know why but I never got used to the idea of wearing something on my hands or fingers.

I never take my wedding and engagement ring off, unless I am making meatloaf or meatballs, where I have to squish raw meat with my hands...I always put them right back on after I'm finished. My husband takes his off only when he is working on his car. He forgot where he put it one time, but thankfully we found it a couple of days later.

I don't usually wear any rings while at home but I do wear my wedding ring whenever I go out, with or without my husband. I feel it honors my husband and is a symbol that I have given myself to him. Rings in general bother my fingers after awhile so I sometimes take it off and forget where I have placed it. I usually find it in the jewelry cleaner or in one of our vehicles.

Thats the symbol of endless love. Like the ring theres no end on it. Be proud to wear it, Its the symbol of your spouse's endless love for you.
