My husband and i decided not to have baby immediately after marriage.

hh9905 @hh9905 (1275) • Malaysia 28 Jan 07

But why people have to make such a big fuss about it? We have other commitments to think about to, especially when it comes to financial. Any suggestions or experience people?

yaxcdoodles Like you, my husband and i decided to wait for one year before trying to get pregnant. We did this to enjoy each other more and we wanted to be ready financially and emotionally. And we didn't have any regrets! Right now, we have our four-month-old baby...

Birthweight of your baby

jessmtiu @jessmtiu (251) • Philippines 22 Jan 07

My baby weighed 7.8 pounds at birth. I believe that's in the big category. Some of my friends had baby's that were in the small sized category, weighing as small as 5 pounds. I guess my baby is big because I also gained a lot of...

Does the "Who's viewed me" matter to you?

cheerldr @cheerldr (594) • Philippines 18 Jan 07

We all noticed that Friendster has made some changes and added the "who's viewed me" feature in our profile. When you checked your profile and see who has viewed it, does it matter to you? Oh well, I really does matter to me....

quispy @quispy (572) • United States 24 Jan 07

yaxcdoodles My firstborn weighed 4 pounds and six ounces only because she had to be delivered prematurely. I had little amniotic fluid and at 32 weeks, my baby had to be taken out. Thank God she's well!

How do you prefer your eggs?

My personal preference is scrambled, with milk in the mixture to keep them fluffy. I don't mind a hard fried egg once in a while but it's not my favorite. Hard boiled is good too. Other than that, just don't really care for...

Is it true that newborns can swim?

doncris @doncris (637) • Romania 23 Jan 07

I heard that if you put a newborn in the water, he/she will be able to swim without any problem. They can even handle staying submerged! Is this true?

13 responses

yaxcdoodles yes. i do believe it's true. have you heard of water birth wherein the mother gives birth in a pool? And i think newborns can breathe in water. After all, babies swim in amniotic fluid before they're born, right?

yaxcdoodles I use "safety first" baby nailcutters and i cut my four-month-old baby's fingernails once a week. You're right, they grow so very fast! The best way to cut them is when they're asleep.
