Yes, do that but make sure to wear a mask to protect yourself from airborn diseases

I've never noticed that with my pets, but then I don't pay much attention to full moons.

Well, like one member said, we're made up of a lot of water so maybe the moon does affect us

I definitely believe that a full moon brings out the "weirdness." I've seen it!

Well, I've seen people get into such silly arguments. The ability to disagree rationally is definitely diminished. People get into physical fights more often, too. It just brings out the "stupid" in some people! LOL

Naa I think it's old superstition, I don't even notice when it's a full moon outside.

When I was a teenager, my mom always said if I was going to get fed up or cross with someone it was at full moon. I never realised it until she told me. Now if I feel bit offish or irritated I look at the moon to see if it is full. It usually is.

You just started a very good discussion - in India, this phenomenon of full moon is called Amavasaya - and yes all sorts of strange things including disasters occur on this day. You could notice that the waves of the ocean are much stronger and higher on a full moon day, why even the last Tsunami that struck the Asian continent, from Indonesia, Thailand, India, Sri Lanka and Africa happened on a full moon. Special prayers are offered in India by the Hindus on a full moon day.

It has been proven that the full moon does affect ocean tides and from what I've read it's because the full moon usually occurs when the moon is closer to our planet

I had relatives who worked at an elderly home... they all said that they would come in in the day time and by night fall they knew if there was a full moon because the elderly went CRAZY!
I have also heard the same about the E.R.

I worked as a receptionist in an ER once. The number of mental patients increased during the full moon!!

I haven't personally noticed anything butmy partner works with mentally disabled people and he has said that some of them need extra care at full moons and that is when many are likely to have fits, etc. This is where werewolves come from. Before mental illnesses were recognised, people would become very different an often "mad" during a full moon and they were thought to be werewolves. Now though, these illnesses are recognised and understood.

I know there are people who would still think this stuff was suspicion and old wives tales but if you think about it, we know scientifically that the moon controls the tides. As we are made up mainly of water (I can't remember the exact percentage but I think it's something like 70%) then there is no reason to disbelieve that the moon can not also control our behaviour.
