how often do you buy something for yourself? a treat?

I don't buy things for myself very often. In every two three months I buy some cloths and jwellery for me. My huby always insist me to buy something for me when we go for shopping and I procrastinate it to next shopping.

I don't get to treat myself very often. But the last thing I bought myself was a necklace..which was about a week ago..the first time in MONTHS lol. It might be the last time in years too, actually..if I don't get my book to sell. *sighs* Never say I don't do anything for my friends lol.

I'm thrilled, I told my parents about you and they were surprised, that someone I don't know that well could be so excited about buying my book...as I said I owe you one!:) And you are sure in for a treat! Well I'm always treating myself..lol I shop frequently and buy a lot of stuff for myself. Initially when we got married, my hubby was a little on the stingy side when it came to my shopping, but now he isn't (thank goodness!) so he gives me money so I can shop. I'm not earning anything so yes, I have to wait for him to shell out some cash, before I can go splurge! Last weekend a friend gave me a discount coupon for a store which already had a sale, so double discount..ohh I had the time of my life shopping. I bought clothes, jewellery...I kept telling my hubby all along "I will consider this as your valentine's day gift to me" (he is so anti-valentine, so he only scoffed when I told him that!) Well whatever, I shopped and am happy..hehe!

My hubby complains about this all of the time. He says that i don't ever buy anything for myself, that i always buy things for the kids. He's even given me money just to buy things for myself, and it never was spent that way... lol

It seems to me we are all in the same boat, not too often and not too expensive. For me, a nice old DVD to build up my collection. So why don't you treat us with a few lines out of your book once a month, it won't cost us a penny:)

Once in a month I buy something for myself like deodarant, shaving cream, shaving blades, tissues to be kept in car, pen refills etc. Rest of the requirements are listed and given to domestic engineer and she buys when she goes for shopping.

i don't usually buy myself new things. i am a thrifty kind of person. i'd rather save than spend money. but not to the point that i starve myself or wear torn clothes just to save. but saving with reasons. the last time i bought something for myself was last week. when i bought myself a pizza with my bestfriend. seems to be not much. but i was satisfied and happy sharing the pizza with my bestfriend.

Oh jeesh, let me see..I bought some books by one of my favorite authors; Christine Feehan. Oh how I get lost in those. It was for my birthday in Jan.

I hardly ever buy a treat for myself. I do maybe twice a year, if that. When I buy my treats, I like to get all that I need though or want at one time. I am too busy worrying about paying bills and buying my husband and daughter things throughout the year. I always put myself on the back burner.

I rarely buy myself new things unless I really need them. However last year I got some nice pictures for the house, and today I got a new door mat. Maybe not really for me, but they will make the place feel more homely. Usually I buy myself nice food as treats.

i hardly ever buy myself anything. all my extra money always seems to go to my spoiled little 3 year old. even the money i'm making on mylot is going towards her disney movie collection. now that i think about it i can't even remember the last time i bought myself something.

I treat myself more often than I should. I am very spoiled by my husband. He lets me buy whatever I want. The last thing I bought would have to be this computer, I bought it last week with our income tax return.
