OK, so we rented an H2 Stretch Hummer last night to go to the Bob Seger Concert in Denver! I must say, for ANY AGE, the man still ROCKS! But he's 61 YEARS OLD! It was a GREAT SHOW!!!! He played for about an hour and a half, then we drove back to Colorado Springs and ended up back where we started, The Overtime Sports Grille and Bar. Gaylene and I sang a duet, "Picture" by Kid Rock and Cheryl Crow and, at the end of the song.... the DJ brought out a HUGE Valentines Card which I had stashed there a few days ago. I gave it to Gaylene, then dropped to one knee and proposed to her on stage. After what seemed like an eternity, she said "YES"! So I put her engagement ring on her lil finger and we smooched! Actually, I licked her face like any good dog would do to its' master! Our party sang a few more songs and we came home...about 2AM! It was GREEEEEAAAAT! So, we are going to try to get married either on March 20 or June 20! All my friends here on MyLot are invited to the wedding! I'll keep you posted as to when and where! Don't worry about bringing gifts....just LOTS OF CASH!! LOL Also, we now have our commercial cut on 103.9, The Eagle, which will begin airing on Monday. We also signed a contract with KKTV, CBS for a year-long television campaign today and, while we were at the station we got to meet some of the news anchors! It was great! I guess we are off and running and have a lot going on right now! Well, that's all there is from Chunkers. As I said, I'll keep everyone updated on future developments! Feel free to make snide remarks, marriage jokes, and simply harass me about getting married! No matter what, though...the Bob Seger concert was Awesome! Wish you all were there!

Thank you....thank you...thank you! You two certainly get around. Don't you! I see you two on all my posts, usually right after the other! I'm starting to think you're one and the same! LOL You can send the "Get Well" cards to me at my private email if you have it. If you don't, I'll give it to you here, but Shhhhhh, don't tell anyone else! It's info@coloradohomeservices.info! And, uh....who said anything about "free booze"? LOL Of course there will be FREE BOOZE! Have you ever met a dog who didn't drink? The concert was AWESOME! I just can't say enough about it. My roommate, Dan Cote', is a professional drummer and teaches drums to other professional drummers. So, trying to keep him in his seat during the concert was nearly impossible! He kept getting out of his seat and saying "but...but...it's MY turn!" LOL He has toured with Kenny Loggins and many other big name bands. I'm trying to get him to go back into the biz, but he's too good at being our Director of Marketing to push him out the door! Anyway, thanks again! Maybe we'll see you both at the wedding!?

We may just have to make a road trip. I hope it is June. I will save my myLot earnings for the trip. LOL I will have to go read some of your discussions that predate my existence as a myLot member, to find out just what you are talking about in the way of contracts. Cheers to you

If you're planning to use your MyLot earnings to get to the wedding, we won't be able to get married until around 2020! LOL Thanks!

Thank you...thank you...thank you!!! I know no one is perfect, even if I keep trying to convince Gaylene that I just happen to be. Perfect, that is! I am learning how to agree with everything she says...that's great advice!

well all the moolah you made from slling that peak and all you spent at last for a charitaqble cause, lol. Congratulations. I guess now you have to open a website and add the paypal donation button on it too. A bit of advice for you once you get married remember that when you have a discussion with your future wife, always remember to get the last two words in: "Yes dear"

Thank you....thank you...thank you! Normally I wouldn't reveal what I spent on such things, but I think most MyLotters want to know what a stretch H2 Hummer costs to rent for a night. So, the Hummer itself was $750, I tipped the driver $200. The total was $950, not to mention the tickets I gave away to the concert, which was about 5, not including mine, my fiances', and my roommate, Dans'. That also doesn't include the t-shirts we bought at the show, the bar tab at the concert, or the bar tab at the bar before and after the show. All in all, the night was PRICELESS!

Thank you...thank you....thank you! We run a home improvement company here in Colorado Springs. We're brand new, but have many years experience in the biz. I've been working for other companies for almost 24 years; making them rich while I lived off the scraps...and having to charge homeowners what THEY told me to charge, which was usually too much. Well, now I've got the connections and the experience, so I wanted to go out on my own and things could not be going any better! So, that's why we're on radio and tv. We also sponsor many charitble events cuz it's a good way to give back to the community that supports us year-round. Again, thanks for the congratulations!

Hey, congrats! It's a good thing she said yes, or else you would have looked really foolish! Ummm, you realize that March 20 is only a month away, right? If you have a $2,000 vacuum cleaner I can only imagine how much the wedding cake and party favors are going to cost! How are you getting a one-year television campaign? Are you guys doing a reality TV show or something, with a camera strapped to the dog's head? "Coming up on this week's episode of Chunkers-cam..."

Yes...we are doing a reality show entitled "Leave it to Chunkers". Our dog is, coincidentally the star! The camera is actually strapped to me and I follow him around the house to see what a dog does on his day off! It's quite funny, acutally. When we're gone, he opens the fridge, makes a sandwich, then plops on the couch and watches Oprah, Scooby-doo, and re-runs of Lassie! I'm not sure, but I think he's in love with Lassie! Isn't Lassie a boy? OMG! My dog is homosexual! We plan to get an interview with "Duke" from the Bushes' baked beans commercial and try to get him to tell us the secret family recipie! Anyway, I do realize that March 20 is a month away. But, if we get married on the first day of spring...or summer, I'll have a better than average chance of remembering our anniversary in later years.

Congrats on the engagement and the new business. I am pleased to hear that you won't be over-charging customers for the work you do. I like ethical and human companies that don't gouge the consumer. I think you should go with March 20 the weather may be to iffy. Go with June 20, there is a better chance of sunshine and warm breezes. I will send Chunkers a box of MilkBones as an engagement present!
