Chat Room

Do you think mylot should have a chat room or rooms? That way if we wanted to talk with others we could. It would be really nice if it could have multiple rooms but even just one chat area were we could discuss things with each other without it being in messages back and forth. What do you think and why?

I think it would be nice to have a chatroom, because there are some among my friends I would like to just chat with once in a while. All the same, it would take away from the time I have to post, and therefore mean less money. Still, I suppose it would be a nice option to have available, even if I wouldn't use it all the time.

Well I know for myself I'm often chatting while I'm on here. It might be with AIM or MSN but I am talking with several friends while I post. I don't see why it would really take away from your posting. Might add to it because someone could ask if you saw a post and link to it so you could go check it out. I doubt I'd use it all the time either but it could come in handy. Nice way to really talk with your my lot friends if you wanted to.

Heheh :) Right now huh? Well not sure that will happen but at least we can think about having it. There have been times when I would have liked it especially when I'm sitting here reading a discussion I find interesting and would like to see what others I know think of it.

I would love to have a chat room. It would so much easier, but then again, how would we get the "credit" for the responses and all? I would think that would make it nearly impossible for MYLOT to pay people.

I think that chat rooms are great! Discussions like this are great too, but to have the option of speaking with others live is tons of fun. Great idea!!!

you can send messages to your friend if you like,
i think adding chatroom will take mylot slow,,
as bigger bandwitch will took place..
it would slowdown mylot if they add chatrooms,
that is my opinion..

I think that is why they let us contact and message each other right here in the forum. I don't think they will make us a chat room which would be kind of nice. I spend alot of time to make new friends here.

I have this on another website that I use. But, I wonder how many people will use it here if they're not paid?
I've often thought that I would just like to chat about a subject instead of posting it in a discussion.

There is gabbly.com. You go there and type in MyLot.com and they have a box for Mylotians to chat. I have done it but in takes time away from posting alot of responses. So I have done it in a while. Good luck with it.
