Do you agree or disagree that married people should be entitled to have time

alone once in a while? Or to be able to go out with their friends from time to time? Here in the Philippines, it's rare that the men let their wife spend time with their friends but the guy can go on drinking sprees with the boys. I think it's unfair. Each one should get an equal time alone or time with friends in order to be a healthy person.

I agree that married people do need time alone. I don't separate my time from my husband at all. If we can spend time together, we do. I have a 15 year old daughter and it is very hard to find some alone time with her here all the time. She won't let us sit and just talk about bills or anything. She has to be center of attention at all times.

Since you are fighting culture and again you are in the Philipines and not Nevada ??? you will have a hard time with that. Yes you deserve to have some time out with out kids. Even a girls night out. Visiting or eating dinner somewhere, even taking a class together. His drinking though should end once he is married. Being a married man he should exhibit the responsibile face. A guys night out again could be sports, dinner or yes again a class that they could take together. Good luck with this cultural situation.

Absolutely! Unfortunately, in many countries and cultures, there's always double standard. I'm fortunate to have a husband who believes in equal rights and also the importance or being a couple and also an individual. I allow him to spend time with his friends without me and vice versa.
