I have noticed a trend in myself..the more positive things i find to praise and be happy with..more positive things i attract to myself..do you find this to be true in your life? the more i winge the more things tend to go wrong..there is a kind of getting things done constructive winging that is different from the normal complaining..that also works when i get going in that direction. How about you? I HAVE NOTICED THIS WITH HUBBY ALSO..WE BOTH DECIDED TO WINGE AND COMPLAIN LESS AND IT HAS IMPROVED OUR QUALITY OF LIFE A HUNDRED FOLD.

Ahhh..someone who does not know that they are practicing the Universal Law of Attraction. It is a beautiful thing, actually, knowing that waking in the morning is a blessing and not a curse. But I don't want to wreck it all for you folks, because what you are doing is practicing having ultimate faith in what you want, you are not whining about your lives but rather are counting the blessings that you have, and that is something that is not very prevalent in the world today. People wonder why it is that they have such horrible luck and why their lives seem to be unfulfilled and that they are not blessed. It is simply because they are seeking out things to complain about, and when they do this they are immediately and absolutely drawing more of the same to themselves. There are people who would call this simply living with common sense, but it is much bigger than just having the smarts to get through the day without killing yourself. Having common sense does not guarantee that you will be happy, feel fulfilled or blessed at all. Having common sense means that there are many things that you can do without hurting yourself or others and that you have some modicum of brains in your head. However, feeling like you have everything to live for and then being able to mark that you are being ultimately blessed by God and the Cosmos and knowing that there is more to life and living than simply breathing- that is something that not everyone can grasp. I, too, practice this. It is called Gratitude and faith and all those things that mainstream and organized religion wants to call whatever it is that they have named their faith. People like myself we call it what it is- simply, only, pure faith born of love.

You have hit the nail on the head. Like attracts like in the universe. Give up all complaining and whining and see what happens. Be positive and give praise and be thankful and all will be well. Keep going in the direction you are going and marvelous things will happen. Miracles perhaps.

That is just a known fact. It is called the laws of attraction and it is wonderful. and if you make sure that you are always thinking and feeling good, then you get more of just that. when you have a negative thought let it go right away by thinking of something that makes you feel good. I have learned this from the book The Secret and it has changed my whole life!!

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU. It's my way of life, in fact. The more positive you are, the more positive is the world around you. Smile, be friendly with other people, try to accept them as they are - and your life will change! That's what I would advise to many people. If you interact much with those who only complains, you will be the same weeper who's only sitting and crying why he's not happy. Be positive! :)

This seems like a very positive way to live. I am now realizing the same thing too. The media seems like a "huge" complaining avenue that just seems to bring everyone down with all of its negative information. Why dont the media networks report positive news instead or at least more than they currently do. I think that this alone would raise the overall morale of the nation.

That is so true, the more we learn to control our anger and emotions the better life is. Complaining doesn't solve a thing and its best to not complain at all if possible. I'm glad you and your hubby are doing gr8 because of this. It makes sense to actually; works things out instead of pushing the limits.

I think this is true for most of the people. We camplain more means we are not happy. If we are not happy we can't concentrate on things we are doing or can't handle the responsibility well what makes the situation worse. And by complain we make others unhappy too. So how can something go well in that kind of situation. We should always try to be happy in any situation, I know this is not easy but we can try atleast.

It is a variation to an old dutch saying: He who does well, meets well. If you have a positive attitude towards life, then your face radiates that and people respond positively to that. That's one way of adding quality to life. If you have that positive attitude, you feel much more confident about yourself, and that adds quality too. If you have a positive attitude, you are better capable to do what you must/will do, and therefor sooner done with it, which helps the quality of life... Well, I guess you can fill in the rest for yourself. Bottomline, if everybody would be a teenie bit more positive, the world would be a better place ;-)

I agree with this so strongly. Not only will you feel better if you try harder to be more positive, but you will also draw more positivity into your life. I try very hard to stay optimistic, although it's not always possible to do so, of course. But I do believe that my faith deep down inside myself that things will turn out right in the end is what has helped to bring a lot of the good into my life that's come into my life. Even my parents have remarked at times about the good luck that I seem to have around me, lol. I'm so glad that you've discovered this truth about life! ^_^

I noticed that long time ago. Tried to do that most of the time, tried to warn people about giving thanks and count their blessings. But then I realized.. people are different. There are people who 'satisfied' being a grumpy person, nagging person, complain all the time, etc. Maybe that what makes the life beautiful? Not goody goody all the time? Though all the facts don't stop me of still looking everything from different perspective (positive way).

I agree with that also. My husband and I have been through alot of bad times and it seemed no matter what we did, the outcome was usually bad. No that we both are working together, finally, everything seems to be going in the right direction, thank God. We still have some bad things happen every now and then but we just work through those and look for the next good thing to happen that we are striving for. Everything is looking so much better now and we are so very happy with it.

Here are some more examples: "I'm glad I can hear my husband snoring. That means he's here beside me and not out with some other woman." "I'm glad I'm tired at the end of the day. That means I am able to work hard." "My wife and children are not the reason why I am poor. They are the reason why I must get rich." "I don't need this job. I have the power to create money." "Why settle for second best when you can aim for the best?"

Hi, indeed the same with me. complaints complecate things. The more we complain, even other people get disturbed. So we don't get any co-operation. Better take the things as they are. Try mend things coolly.

I do not know what you mean by "winge" or "winging", but I Love your post, regardless. You refer to the "law of attraction" or the psychological premise that you get what you focus on. In Christianity, it's alluded to in terms of "faith the size of a mustard seed" in psychology we often say, "self-fulfilling prophecy" and we also refer to such things as condition. Anyway, awesome post, yes, it's a fact, we do get what we focus on.

It's like surrounding yourself with good chi. Here's a Chinese philosophy I believe in. Good things and good luck comes to those with good chi. How do we get good chi..well, FengShui masters can tell you how to place things in your house to give you the most. That's one. But you see, fengshui is about harmony. Putting things in places to create this harmonious surrounding. But on our part we have to accept who we are, what we have and be happy and content with it. Like for example, our body makes is made up of cells all living harmoniously, doing the things that they are supposed to do but when one of them doesn't feel so harmonious anymore, it starts to mutate and turns into cancer. Besides, if you're happy with what you have already then everything else is just a PLUS! Cheh!

I agree, I tend to look for more positive things in my life lately and it realy makes a difference. I used to be one stressed out chick but I have been working on it getting rid of unnecisary worrys in my life and it has helped more than I could of dreamed. I worry less about the small stuff, like the sot on my floor or the gossip from friends or whatever. Less complaining, less gosip, less BS, way less stress !!!

Basically, you become what you think of. The mind is a very powerful thing yanjiaren. The whole thing about becoming more positive and less wingeing, is to totally change your perspective. I guess things around you must have changed a lot. You should be getting more people coming up to say hi, or just to talk. People like to converse with people who are very free with their appreciations and praises. Keep working on it, people around you deserve to be appreciated.
