would anyone like to see a new robocop movie?

Robocop has to be one the all time best classics around, they have made a new superman do you think it's about time they fetch the metal super cop back to the screen with a new advarsery to go up against? who do you think would be good to play robocop this time round? peter weller did a great job in the first two so i would like to see him come back for the 4th. who do you think or what do you think could be the bad guy figure? should it be something like pud face from the series they tried to do? or should it be another robot?

Sure why not? I liked the others and one is long overdue. I bet it would be so technologically advanced now.

why not... even if they were to take the story line and bring it to a future time frame... upgrade his technology, it would be great!
with CGI of today, it would be even more realistic than before. question is, what story should the movie be exploring?

thats a very good point, i don't know what sort of story they could go down, i particular liked robocop two, having robocop go against another machine is great to see, hey why not even a robocop vs terminator then they could fetch both together i don't know how but that would be cool.

there was a comic series based on that by dark horse... i think
the story didn't panned out very well. A bit on the stiff side, if you ask me. I would rather they try to upgrade his technology to something like those in i-robots, and do a more upbeat story on how he can still fight crime and be able to know more about his family... mabbe a long the line where his son grew up and they are fighting crime together... or something like that! that would be cool!

There have already been a few direct-to-video movies, and they weren't very good.
RoboCop was a great movie, but I don't think anyone's out there willing to make another one who has the ability to do it well. Maybe that's sad, but I'd rather not get any more RoboCop than get bad RoboCop.

Robocop 1 & 2 was great, but Robocop 3 was completely horrible.
If they were to make a new Robocop 4, then they would have to bring back Peter Weller to play Robocop again.
But then again sometimes we have to let classics stay classics rather than making continuous sequels off of them. If the sequel doesn't match the prequel it would completely tarnish the name.
So my vote, if Peter Weller is Robocop and they move back to some of its roots, then yeah sure bring on Part 4.

I too would like to see a new movie come out i love robocop and it would be a revival to rival all others but it does have to be done right and a new badgy would have to come into it i think someone who could really give robocop a run for his money, heck i would even settle for a robocop vs terminator movie, we have aliens vs predator so why not robo vs termi that could be cool?
