according to my my ....giving id doesnot harm you.... giving password can be problem..and most of the sites are secure and they dont spread ids of spam... and if u r using hotmail then they have junk mail filter ... all the junk mail will be seperated :)

After all its an email id so I don't care much for it. I've created one just to use for these sign ups so nobody will know my real identity and not too many personal details are revealed. In today's world it is almost impossible to be without an email id..hehe!

I never trust any site that I am not familiar of. I think it is better to stick up on sites which are more commercial, and are very commonly used by almost every surfers. We can never be sure of what it offers to us, better stick our heads on what we know than suffer the consequences later..

No i dont think so.. Its not safe to just sign up and put your email address in any net. but that would depends if you have many email addresses. You must have your personal that no one can just send you email scams or something.. i understand that we have to be careful here in the internet cause there are many people who are honest and not honest too hope you know what i mean?

its ok to sign up anywhere. as long as you're sure that its not just a spam site. i hate those email crawlers! grr... https sites are more preferable than http sites because its more secure. c",) as long as you really want to sign up in that site, its pretty much ok.
