Are newbies jumping the gun? I was searching for new discussions and most of them are just 1 liners. I normally go and check for the posts by my friends, and go on posting on it. But, I like to make new friends too. So, I check for new discussions and if I find any interesting topic, I post on it and also add the person as a friend. But, it is very annoying when you see just 1 line topics, mostly only to have more posts. The only good thing is that, such posts have minimal response and they might learn sooner that they need to post properly. I am used to reading such quality posts from most of my friends that it is shocking to see 1 liners all of a sudden. Is it only today or does this happen everyday? I login only few times a week now.

I think it has been going on for quite some time now and it is even happening with some of my friends new discussions. I think some of the new members don't know how it all works here. They may be used to posting in other forums that do not require they to type alot of lines or wording. That is a very good possibility. Some of my friends that I have had for a very long time here at Mylot still do it though. I guess their earnings show it also. I'm not sure. I'm not sure how Mylot handles those types of posts.

I am also not sure about it. For replies, the number of lines and the grammar and spelling mistakes count. But, for the discussion itself, not sure how mylot calculates the pay.

I've noticed that there has been a larger number of new people here than usual. It's good to have new people because it usually means there will be a better chance of finding unique discussions. But, it also means people that don't follow the rules and are just here to make money. Most of those people will find it difficult to earn here unless they increase the quality of their posts and discussions. I have to admit that I am one of the ones who will respond to a one-line discussion from time to time. but, I only try to respond to those I can give a good answer to. Most of these people never comment on any of the responses, so eventually, I will avoid them unless it's something really interesting that they post or it's really slow here.

Yes, it is good to have new people, but, just hoping that they learn sooner that they do no good to anyone by posting just those 1 liners. Many are sometimes just Q and A's being asked.

Well to be honest I think there have always been a lot of daft, one-line discussions started round here, - in fact I have seen many of them being posted by people who have thousands of posts to their name too. I just ignore them!!

Yes, even I have seen them, but yesterday, they were just too many in number. Even I will ignore them and move on.
