manodogs @manodogs (415) • United States 10 Nov 06

Doesn't matter if you do it professionally or not, do you write? If so, what? Poetry, novels, shorts, flash fiction? What genre(s) or subject(s)?

Do online surveys really pay?

Desdemona @Desdemona (1301) • Canada 24 Nov 06

I don't know about you, but I have signed-up to many online surveys. Not one has paid. There is sooo many promises that you will make $5 and much more, but I never get it. What about you?

pussywillow It took a few weeks before I got my first survey from them. Try going to their home page and filling out some of the surveys that tell them about the things you buy and services you use. You don't get paid for them but those unpaid surveys will give the site...

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you choose?

pussywillow @pussywillow (718) • United States 27 Oct 06

I would choose to live in Truckee, California. I think Truckee is the most beautiful place in the world. Truckee is on Donner Lake in the Sierra Mountains - near Donner Pass. And it's close to Lake Tahoe and Reno, Nevada. Where...

pussywillow I guess I'm just a little different. I like that Truckee is small and doesn't have alot of businesses, people or traffic. I love the mountains and I just love Donner Lake. It's a real beauty of a lake.

pussywillow No problem - I understand how you'd feel that way if you've never seen it at its best. It's not always like that. I know they had some dry, dry weather and that could explain all the dead, brown vegetaion. Every time I've been there it's been green and...

pussywillow You know, I think I'm going to just let someone hit me instead of forcing their way past me again, too. I'm getting real tired of that kind of stuff. I'm usually the one that gives so I don't get hit. But I think I'm getting fed up enough to just go ahead...
