If you've played the classic game, how long ago was it? ...and with a twist! Would you be willing to play it again now that you're older?

Does anyone know of a site where I can get paid for writing Poetry?

girlgonefishing @girlgonefishing (2174) • United States 10 Dec 07

I don't mean page views like AC does. I mean an upfront payment. I wrote a poem and submitted it to AC (non-exclusive of course) and there was no upfront payment for it. I have to depend in people just stumbling across it in order...

Our Thanksgiving day......how was yours?

ctrymuziklvr @ctrymuziklvr (11057) • United States 23 Nov 07

This had to be the best Thanksgiving we've had in years and I think it's because my granddaughter was here to share it with us. Usually it's just my son and his fiance and myself but because my daughter had to work all day I have...

rabonnobar My Thanksgiving was great! My aunt, who I only get to see every few years cuz she lives so far away, was able to stop by, and her family. Also, grandparents, cousins, other aunts, uncles, and parents/brother of course. I actually get along with my family, and...

I would be Prof Minerva McGonagall. I really like her character being someone who is strict but with a heart. How about you?

rabonnobar I am most like Hermione. She is intelligent and can flaunt it (unknowingly) at times. She also can be shy and had a hart time making friends. She does stick up heavily for her friends when she gets them, though. All this applies to me. :)

Will we FINALLY get a female President?

anniepa @anniepa (27945) • United States 6 Jul 07

I find it almost amusing the way the right-wing picks incessantly on Hillary Clinton. The poor woman can't do anything right! If she looks really nice and like she spent a bit of time on her appearance, that's female vanity, if...

rabonnobar I like Hillary. I think it is possible she will be President. I think our nation is very close to "being ready" for a female president, if not yet completely ready. We'll just have to see.

Do u think crying inappropriate for men?

cosmopolitan @cosmopolitan (1262) • India 27 Dec 06

Does crying takes away the manliness from men.I don't think crying a patented emotion exclusively for the women folk. What do u say?

rabonnobar I agree with you. Crying is healthy. It is horrible that society holds it to be so bad for men to cry... men need to release their feelings too. And I say this as a man myself.

Will you go to sleep when your hair is still wet?

youless @youless (114080) • Guangzhou, China 20 Nov 07

When I was a child, my grandma told me not to sleep when my hair was still wet. She said I would have a headache after I grew up. So I remember this and I always go to sleep when my hair is dry. If my hair is still wet, I will use...

rabonnobar I don't, but for a different reason. I'm always soooo hot when I get out of the shower, and can't go to bed hot. Thus, I have to wait til I cool off, which by that time my hair's dry. ;)

Should men shave their ARM PITS?

ZenDove @ZenDove (698) • United States 26 Aug 07

One of the things that I will not miss about summer is the frequent sighting of "arm-pit chia pets"! You see them everywhere - in the park, at the bank, in the bowling alley. Ugh, all that long, frazzled looking hair coming out...

rabonnobar Metro? Lol. Gay? I'm bi and don't shave. Stereotypes suck. I personally find it attractive when men trim, but don't shave, pit hair.
