randomone My mom would spank for just about anything. Spanking usually meant 3-5 licks with a paddle on my bare bottom. Of course, things changed as I got older, but that was the basics.

randomone Definitely never a good idea to force a child to stay on a team just because you are the coach. This could very easily cause resentment and the child might lose just to get back at you.

randomone I disagree with using spanking as punishment. I believe there is always something else that will work. In my view spanking means that you have tried everything else and it didn't work so you give up and hit the kid to make yourself feel better.
