ray375 I'm not saying that I can't be a leader, I would rather not in some cases. If someone is royaly screwing up though I will surely let them know, probably not nicely, then I would take over.

How many of you have self taught yourself on guitar?

I am really interested in learning to play the guitar, but sometimes I feel that I am getting too old to try to pick it up. Would it be a waste of my time to try to self teach or should I try to find someone to get lessons from?

ray375 Should I start out with an acoustic or electric? I really like the sound of electric better. Ultimately I would love to learn Blink 182.
